Classroom window applications are generally opaque vinyl fire retardant fiberglass fabrics which provide an energy saving factor which assists in reducing heat loss in winter and heat build-up in summer. These shades are available in the following applications: spring roller mechanism, bead chain clutch operated shades and crank operated shades which offer ease of operation in tall and wide shades. These shades can offer flexibility wherein the bead chain as well as the crank can be positioned on either side of the shade. This offers the end user additional convenience as well as any aesthetic values that may be required.

  Another often used classroom window treatment is the horizontal blind available in I" and 2" aluminum. The blinds offer flexibility in so far as the wands can direct as much or as little light/glare as needed. Depending on the clients requirement or window configuration, the following are some of the options available on the 1" blinds:
